Disco, Tdi, 5 door, 2 inch spring lift, will 33 x 12.5 x 15 tyres fit under it? And if not what mods would need to be done?

I've got no lift on mine, but have some 31's which rub on the rear guards at near full articulation.
So, without some body-work and maybe a body-lift, I can't see 33's working.

I have seen a 5 door tdi disco with 3 inch lift and rangie spares flares, with 33" MTR's. No bodylift and to the best of my knowledge after steering stops adj there was no rubbing except in the inside top of the rear wheel arches, but could limit travel to prevent that.

Hi QSDT,
I have a series 1 disco with a 2" spring lift, no body lift and my 245/75/16 MTRs Rub on the bottom rear corner of the rear wheel arches at full articulation. They only just rub but they still rub. 245/75/16 from memory works out to be about 30.6" so 33" tyres would definately cause some damage. If the bottom corner of the rear wheel arches was cut off then 33" tyres may have a chance of fitting but I think it would be tight.
All the best,
Harvs.

Now Ace told me that with his 31" muds, every time he goes off road he chews out his rubber flange on his rear shaft. Anyone else have this issue?

Mine is still there. I must admit that since I've owned it, the disco has probably spent most of its time in the garage, but I took it out for a weekend up at Waraweena Gorge and Narrina here in SA (where there was plenty of articulation) and had no such problems.
