We were having a bar stool discussion earlier this afternoon, and I'm now looking to have a number of late D4 points clarified please.
Not worried about the easily researched SE/HSE variances, but more the standard equipment mechanical aspects as per below.

1 - I thought by 2016, there was effectively only one 3.0L diesel engine available, but it would appear that the single turbo TDV6 or the twin SDV6 could still be obtained?

2 - All were 8 speed (auto only) by this point.

3 - We were still having discussions around the table as to just what was standard equipment as opposed to options including such luxuries as TPMS, GPS, media/entertainment system, cloth/fake leather/leather, reversing camera, parking sensors/aides, LED lighting (in part or in full) and anything else that comes to mind. I'm pretty sure lane changing warnings were not standard, nor adaptive cruise control.

Go for it experts!

All the 3.0 in AU are twin turbo

Yes there was TDV6 and SDV6 variants (differing power levels)

Yes all 8 speed box

I went for the bog standard TDV6 over the HSE mostly because it didn't have all the little bits added on by designers because it pleases them. Things such as blind spot warnings, traffic crossing behind etc. Plus it would have cost about 30K more than what I paid and that's a lot of cartons. :)
But my car has still got a much better entertainment system and reversing camera, reversing sensors etc., different style dash to take the camera which aren't on a mates vehicle of approx. the same age. Seats are leather but all the dash and door tops etc are some man made material of some kind.

Southern Land Rover, and I’d assume Barbagellos as well, were pre-ordering TDV6 models in white, with 7 seats, black leather, xenon headlights and reverse camera/touchscreen/Meridian sound from about 2014 until the end. These were held ‘in stock’ ready to drive away. SE and HSE models were ‘built to order’. You could still do a custom TDV6 order but would obviously have to wait.

I don’t know if this was standard practice Australia wide, or just a Perth thing (No idea what Bunbury LR did either).

Thanks Kelvo - Would I be right in thinking the Zenon were somewhat similar to the STEDI high beams?

The Bunbury dealer didn't open until a couple of years ago, after D4 production ceased.
