A question to owners of RRS L494 2018 upgrade.
If you have the modified rear spoiler, does it prevent the build-up (poor way to put it, but I'm sure you know what I mean) of dust and road grime on the tail-gate window?
Cheers in advance of your input.

Yes my 2018/19 is much better than my 2014 in that respect.

Will the later one fit earlier vehicles?

Thanks Sean, that's a proper effort by LR to try to keep the rear window clean. Another AULRO member who has recently upgraded from a D3 to an earlier L494 for his outback travels might be quite interested in the new spolier.

I cut holes in and added a scoop to a spare spoiler for my L322 to try to get air down the window but a factory version would look and probably work so much better.

Thanks for the comments.

The LR part number is LR117247 and although it is very expensive @ $1930 +GST, if it keeps the back window cleaner it may well be worth the investment.

So to answer my own question - the answer is YES -. I've just fitted the 2018 spoiler to my 2017 L494 and to look at it, it's hard to see the difference BUT the back window is clean. One happy camper right here.[biggrin]
