Spare wheel carrier specs

Hi just wondering whether anyone has ever build a rear wheel carrier for a 110 defender and if so would they like to share the design and specs of the unit with me, as I would like to build one but have not seen one in real life to duplicate.. For anyone interested in making a swing away wheel carrier for any type of vehicle, you may be interested in the below parts. first is a wheel hub without flange to suit either ford or holden bearings, in conjuction with a stub axle from super crap auto and some tube = one fairly easy to make carrier. Ok how do i make this image work ?

The Bearmach one looks good. They swing open when you open the rear door, but the weight is supported by the brackets.
