i would suspect it will be priced outside the reach of the greater unwashed, so limited in numbers.

I thought the 5l jag/Lr engine was already supercharged - is there any current application where it is not supercharged?

Well, aren't they? That last V8 Defender sure sold. And I'll bet 90% of those who actually got one have moved it on, probably at a decent loss.
