Td5 Air Con Evaporator

My under dash evaporator is leaking refrigerant. I’ve been told that replacement evaporators are not available.

Has anybody else encountered this problem?

Does anybody have a solution?

Summertime here in Brisbane, so something has to be done.

You can always get one made, probably be copper with aluminium fins, and it will cost arms, legs and kidneys.
And they will need pics and measurements of the original.
