Hi all,
Ordered the other week a set of Koni Heavy Track replacement shocks, my late TD5 110 is on its original Landie shocks, Is a Nov 06 build with 143000 kms on the clock.

My question is thus, being adjustable shocks do they need to be set at a setting before fitting, and what is best setting to be set at?

After advice from someone who has had and fitted these before....

Regards,

Col.

They are meant to be on the softest setting. It is explained in the instructions.

They are adjustable only for rebound damping ( not Bump damping). It’s more designed to compensate for wear so leave at the as supplied setting.

Left my Koni Heavy tracks at the factory setting, when I fitted them to my 96 130. With new standard coils. The ride is great, even when not fully loaded.

Not sure which Konis I had...but not raids. Great ride at the std setting, but through lots of sand moguls it would have been better at a higher setting.
