To clarify, the type that screws into a td5 top hose.
I have just received a new silicon top hose, however for the bleed screw it has a Schrader valve (like a bike tube) in it for bleeding. I currently have a engine saver installed which uses the traditional screw in bleed screw that has a metal tip that is engulfed in coolant when the top hose is full which i would like to keep installed where it is.
I assume the engine saver works by the coolant in the hose closing a circuit between the tip of the bleed screw and the top of the bleed screw? In which case my best bet would be to look at a different spot for a coolant alarm? Or is it some other trickery? Could i just solder the wire from the engine saver to the valve?
Cheers
