What chassis is it based on?
Just curious, a mate rang last night, he was checking a couple at the local dealer, one was $300k+ [emoji50]

Don’t know the answer to the first question. From the factory videos, it looks like the current chassis/frame is specific to the RRS, but that is a guess.

$300K for a RRS… that will be for a loaded Autobiography or the SVR, eg carsales.com.au (https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2020-land-rover-range-rover-sport-v8sc-svr-auto-4x4-my21-5/OAG-AD-19624699/?Cr=2)

I believe the monocoque is vehicle specific, but shares a lot of suspension, etc hardware with the full size RR.

It's the D7u platform. An aluminium monocoque chassis used for the L462, L494 and L405.

I think the next model of the FFRR will be the 1st based on the new MLA platform.

IIRC the RRS shares the same floor pan as the RR, and in RR form it uses aluminium rear suspension, whereas in the RRS to fit the 7 seat option they had to decrease the size of the rear suspension, so had to add in steel for strength.
