Hey everyone, have done a fair bit of searching trying to find an answer between the threads but to no avail..
03 d2 with sls, i know one bag was replaced by previous owner ~2 years ago , but didnt do both which im aware is a no no. Everything has been fine since my ownership so have prioritised other pressing issues while being aware that this is on the list.
In my ownership ive had the suspension drop down twice both after times of sitting in the car for awhile with it turned off no keys in ignition etc. came home today to see it had dropped once more. so thats three times in total. After the second time i talked to my boys at the landy specialist i go to and ordered in some bags which i was going to put in with next service, just havent got there yet.
My wagons not a daily, mostly used for weekend excursions spooking trout, and some tow duties. Heading down the line for a camping and fly fishing weekend and of course something happens 2 nights before departing!
My question is this, do you think i could get away with one more weekend away before remedying the extremely intermittent drooping bags? I know burning out the compressor is a big risk , is this heightened by driving 5 hours to the destination with a somewhat heavy load, parked up for a few days then driving back 5 hours? clocks ticking and dont think ill be able to suss before i leave, might have to take the work wagon which id much rather not do..
Cheers in advance guys, Henry
