Today, the GBR was wiped out. Ten years ago Professor Ove Hoegh Guldberg told us that the GBR would be dead in ten years. That ten years passed today, so I guess it's RIP GBR..

Oh, wait, what's that? It's still there?? How can that be? The guy is a professor after all, he can't be wrong surely.

They think you are mugs, and sadly they are often correct.

I think you mean Prof. Ove Hoegh-Guldberg.
I'm sure he gave the time frame out to 2050. A safe bet not many of us will be around then.

It's a bit like Monty Python.
Half Dead, sometimes feeling better, sometimes not so good.
I haven't been on it since I was a kid when I lived next to it, Whitsundays, was a nice place back in the 60"s.
