How do I get the WiFi password from my phone? Previously, it's displayed on the phone when I've connected a device.

I assume you mean the wifi password and not the hotspot password when you use the phone as a wifi hotspot.

On my Google Android with the latest OS.

Go into Settings and select Network and Internet. Select WiFi and it should display what WiFi network the phone is connected too. Select that Network. - It was say at the top WiFi - and the network and underneath connected - to the right is the settings symbol - click on that.

The next screen will tell you the Wifi Network and underneath it has 3 symbold and words saying Forget, Disconnect or Share - hit share

I have security on my phone so it asked me to swipe my finger - so if you have some sort of phone or screen password or face recognition or finger reader thenthat is needed - I assume if you have no security it will not ask it.

Then a screen opens with a Q code etc but at the bottom is the WiFi Password.

Now if you actually meant the Hotspot password - Go into Settings and select Network and Internet. Select Hotspot and Tethering. Select WiFi hotspot. Then you will see Hotspot password but you cannot read it .......... Click on Hotspot password and the password will appear.

Things might be different if you have a different operating version etc.

Android, Samsung.

Menu will be different depending on age of Android version.

Which model Samsung, and locate the version of Android it's running .. highly likely it's updated from the original version it came out with.

Settings->(down near bottom of settings) About Phone->Software Information.
It will show the UI(user interface) and below that should be the version of Android .. could be anything from 4 to 10(or even 11 if brand spanking!)

generally speaking tho, if the password is only a series of **'s, there is almost always a tickbox(maybe hidden behind the keyboard) to show it when ticked.
So if you can only see a series of asterix(es), and the keyboard is open, minimise the keyboard and see if that shows you the tickbox to show password.

Thanks fellows, I found a work around. I was trying to connect my printer to my tablet, which I hotspot from my phone. Usually, when connecting a new device, the phone will display the password.
The printer wanted to connect through the phone/hub, but the phone was asking for the password.
I ended up disconnecting the tablet from phone then connecting directly to the printer. No password was requested.
