Removing the front cover to access the tow point.
Using the official instructions below I couldn’t release this panel.
The four fasteners release without problems, but no matter how hard I pulled I couldn’t release the tabs on the top edge.
I ended up using a length of wood about 30 x 10 x 370 mm long with a blunt chisel shaped end inserted up behind the panel from the bottom and hitting with a small heavy hammer. This worked but you have to be prepared.
Has anyone had similar problems and is there a better solution?
The front towing point is located behind a removable cover in the front bumper.
To remove the cover:
Rotate each of the fasteners 90 degrees counter-clockwise with a coin or similar.
Pull the cover forward from the rear lower edge to release the two lower tabs and eight lugs on the top edge of the cover.
