My flex joint failed at the RWC inspection. It was the mesh type. I have a spare bellows type here, which will get passed, but I believe it is restrictive. So, I thought of getting one made without the flex bit there at all. So, the question is, is there enough movement in the rest of the system to allow this? Personally I would think so, but I guess they put it there for a reason.

Thx. Had the manifold issues, as we all have. I'll bung the bellows type one on for now.
