300tdi Aircon in Sydney

A question for the brains trust: My 300tdi Aircon needs a bit of work beyond just a regas so wondering if anyone knows a good place in Sydney to get it done? I don't know much about aircon but I am guessing the old under dash systems are a little unique, hence the question. However if car aircon is all pretty much the same then feel free to disabuse me of this notion and I'll just go to the local place. Cheers!

Visit the local guy and ask him to check it over. Mine just needed regassing.

Is everything working, switch it on, fan blows etc? Compressor cuts in and out?

Mate i take its a defender? If it sopped working it may be worth looking in the battery box and you will see a black box with numerous wires, besides a couple of fuses. This controls the aircon . with engine running and aircon switched on give it a wriggle, The pins can get loose mostly it appears the earth wire. If it works look up my posts as i just fixed mine and explained how. May be worth a look before you spend money.

It needs a regas anyway so I might start with that and then play around. At the very least it will be easier to troubleshoot with it properly gassed. Tutorial looks good, thanks [emoji106]
