Hope this works is a story with video of Marines practicing boarding a ship with ship packs

They use similar kit for first responders to reach people who have got into trouble in the Lake District

It'll be interesting to see where they go with this concept. Not sure how it would go in an opposed boarding, but certainly a skilful demonstration from a moving boat.
