2011 4.4TDV8, Took just 11 days to get my new front bags and struts BWI Delphi and new genuine rear bags, delivered for $3124aud from Island 4x4, tried buying here in Oz but prices are ridiculous Bilstein Arnott full set $5020, British Auto Parts fronts only, what brand ? $2750, Gippsland Jaguar $5100 fronts only.
With 180,000 klms not risking driving corrugated roads on our 3 month trip away towing the van with old bags, may be fine, but now I’ll have spares just in case. Thinking of ordering the rear shocks as well now. Definitely going to wrap the canister on them to protect from rocks.

Check out FCP Euro in the future, cheaper shipping (US to Aus) and they have Arnotts for a good price + lifetime replacement warranty. Last time you'll ever buy parts.
Land Rover Range Rover Suspension Parts | FCP Euro (https://www.fcpeuro.com/Land-Rover-parts/Range-Rover/Suspension/?year=2011&m=1420&e=3842&t=5&b=11&d=&v=32)
I would buy shocks before rear bags, the bags seem to hold up v well if kept clean.

For example for a full Arnotts setup which I run, for the 2011 with VDS your landed cost would be:
$1836 Parts
$196 Shipping (Fedex usually lands in under 5 days)
Total $2032 USD = $2603 AUD
2x Rear Bags
2x Front VDS Struts
And if they die in 4 years after abuse, send them back and they'll replace them for free.
PS buy some of these: RBK500210 if you're going to be off-roading, make sure either lemforder or Land Rover. Mine goes through them fast but only cause I have it ripping tracks most weekends.

Thanks mate, did a lot of research found some good, some bad about Arnott’s, when changing the disc rotors front struts had BWI on them, original from factory, researched them and everyone said there the best, so may have cost me a bit more but for peace of mind, I’m happy. Have enjoyed reading your thread on prepping for your trip.

I've heard of arnotts clunking too ...
And the dunlop's.
BWI is definitely the way to go, but for everything else I go FCPEuro...

Yeah Arnott used to refurb shocks, they are now fully built new with a redesigned/reinforced strut top.
As far as i was aware the issues were resolved (i hope haha)

Checked warranty with Arnott, international sales they only have a 2 year warranty, but if you buy through FCP Euro they give lifetime? Never seen that before with a reseller
