I want to mount some gauges and a small gps on top of the dash in a console,is it possible to just drill down from the top for self tappers or what is underneath to drill through\destroy,

Many of us have installed a MUDPOD - mine is glued and screwed. I can post pics of my install if it would help...otherwise search the forum for “mudpod” and see all of them[emoji1417]

You have probably found out the options already, but mine had screws into the metal base adjacent to the central vent, which is then hidden by the overlapping plastic piece with a screw at each end. Neat, simple and effective. The hardest bit is getting all the wiring up from under.
