in the glove box fuse box, there is a fuse, no F37
"transfer box ECU - Only fitted for towing purposes"
what is the reason for this fuse, what dose it do, do you need to fit it when towing and remove it when not towing
what happens if towing with out the fuse in place
thanks

AFAIK, this is for towing the vehicle itself. You'd insert when having your rig flat towed, then remove it.

Ditto on the P38A. If I recall correctly, it put the transfer box into neutral.

The transfer case wiring diagram for MY11/12 starting at vin 334434 which appears to be the start of MY11 shows an unused pin 7 on the connector that is used for the centre console switch-pack wires which has the description "key locked drive, not used (V101) ".

Being able to disconnect the gearbox to allow the vehicle to be towed is a great idea. I'll be looking to find the wiring diagrams for MY07-MY10 to see if that pin is used and if and how it is wired so that I can see if it works on mine. I have spare pins for the TC connectors. It could be a great anti-theft facility too.
