Key fob only locks.

Hi all, I have a strange issue going on with my key fob on my 2001 Thor 4.6.
It locks the car via remote really well, but it does not unlock.
It opens and starts fine using the key, so no lockout problems.
Both buttons on the remote work to lock, but no unlock.
Has anyone come across this before?

Remote or remotes? Are you saying both remotes don't unlock?

I only have one remote unfortunately!
Both buttons on the fob work, they just lock not unlock.
I can still unlock and lock using the physical key with no problem.

You're saying both buttons lock? Only one should lock which is the lower one (if the key blade is 'up).
Is this a new problem or has been an issue all of the time in your ownership?

Yes that's correct, both buttons lock.
It's been doing that for a while now, I've had other bigger things to attend to, just putting it out there incase someone else has had this happen.
I thought it might be worth looking at the lock functions with my faultmate.
Could also be a problem with the remote itself.

I have never come across this problem before.
Do you have a P38 remote like this one or does it look like something else?

Exactly that remote.
It's not the end of the world or anything, I can live with it.
Would be nice to have it working as it should though.
