The install (after several attempts) gets to 98% and fails,, which then means a 5 minute wait as it changes everything back,,
That error means not enough room in the System partition?
but... ?

Now I'm way out of my depth here but perhaps that is a good thing Pedro???
I received pop up boxes from Windows asking permission to up date my computer but repeatedly I declined it. I went looking on the net for an explanation of what the update did. What I learned was that the update wipes everything stored on the computer and it's like starting again with a computer that hasn't been used yet.
Like I said...out of my depth and happy to be corrected.

Pedro, I checked mine for updates, after seeing this thread and found I had the one you're having trouble with. It just installed OK on my laptop.

It's your EFI System Partition (partition 2) that is too small. I think it needs to be 500MB or greater, seems 600MB is a good size.
Lookup how to expand that partition. Be careful with how you do this.

This is a windows Major release, they have 2 a year now plus the normal monthly updates.
the 2nd image you posted is just your partition information. The setting within here are ok for the update to install, they are all standard.
You need to go into windows explorer and on the left hand side click on This PC. then look at the space left on the "Windows C: " drive.
you will need about 20GB free on C: drive for an update on an existing installation.

Windows Update Error 0x800f0922 - Microsoft Community (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-update/windows-update-error-0x800f0922/87a78355-1a84-4e0f-a0be-28f99a075e50)
System reserved partition is not "C drive". Your problem has nothing to do with "c:"
Shrink c: drive partition a little and give the space to partition 2.
Did you read my earlier post?[bigwhistle]

yes,, hard to add one in the right spot but... if you look at the second pic you can see I've already done half the job.. just cant seem to make that partition bigger, (using EaseUS Partition Manager)
