LLAMS kits are now available for the L663 Defender. The kits differ from the L405/L494 kits in that the switch lead is substantially longer and an extension lead is supplied to fit between the LLAMS loom and the LLAMS module to allow the module to be located in a more accessible spot than next to the suspension module. The module will be supplied with HIGH pre-calibrated at +60mm but can be OR2 height as a calibration option and an alternate LOW calibration is also available as a calibration option. These options are identical to those available for the L405 RR and L462 Discovery (D5). The RRP is $605, being $11 more than the RRP of the other similar kits due to the additional cost of the module extension lead. Davis Performance Landys will have 2 kits in a couple of days.

Note that while the module extension lead may appear to be a VGA/SVGA cable, a VGA/SVGA cable must not be used. The supplied cable has all 15 wires connected 1:1 without any cross-over or common wires.

Hi Graem.

I’m writing here as it was your most recent thread.

I have installed the llams today on my disco2016 and all went well used it once and then car got stuck on top height with a suspension fault and I can’t get it to work since.

Tried disconnecting the unit back to normal but still no luck.

Tried disconnecting the battery over and over to try reset error but with no luck.

Would love to hear your guidance as what I can do with getting it fixed.

I'll send you a PM. You could email me at kits@llams.com.au

Perhaps just a plug isn't properly fitted.

He's remembering his previous L320 RRS then D4 Llams medium height which was 30mm but for the Defender, D5, L494 RRS and L405 RR medium raised is OR1 height, being 40mm except for the L494 which is 35mm. He's a great advocate!

Having purchased a LLAMs kit for my L663 (as I loved the one I had on my D3) I’ve dismantled the rear of the car to expose the EAS module as per accompanying instructions. I am now struggling to dismantle other trim to run the control cable from the luggage space to the driver’s side dashboard. Any help or advice would be very much appreciated as I would prefer not to break anything by forcing trim incorrectly.

Sorry I can't help as I haven't even been close to a L663 let alone install a kit and I haven't had any feed-back on what people have done apart from running the cable in the channel under the treadplates where other cables are run.
