Anyone had a problem with condensation in the rear tail light of an L322 ? If so is it fixable? Any ideas would be appreciated. Also if anyone knows how to remove the tail light (without breaking it[bigrolf]) that would also be helpful. I'm reluctant to fiddle with it at the moment 'cause to replace one is big bucks. (Landrover 'round $640). Thanks for any help.

I’m trying to recall where I saw something in the past week about condensation. It might have been in one of Powerful UK’s videos.

The vertical seam adjacent to the tailgate on one of mine opened-up which allowed dust to enter. I drilled a hole in the bottom to clean it then plugged the hole after having resealed the join.

There are plenty of aftermarket lights much cheaper on Aliexpress if it annoys you too much.

I haven't bought these personally but I have bought the rear centre brake light for my L322 and was more than happy with the quality.

Not sure if you've sorted your lights yet, but I've just purchased these from Aliexpress after a failed attempt at sealing my lights.

I had one side that was full of mould from where it had been leaking, so I removed it, split it open, and cleaned it out. I used superglue to glue it back together, and it looked much better. I was very proud of myself for saving some money. Until I inspected it a couple of hours later... I didn't clean my fingerprints completely from the inside plastic, and the superglue fumes made some clouds and haze.

I was quoted $350 for a single 2nd hand genuine unit, which is why I attempted the repair.
