A number of years ago we were at a meeting for parents with children with special needs. After the meeting when we went back to the car park the was a young child running her hands over the Defender. I knew her and her parents from previous meetings and events. Her father said he hoped I didn't mind but his daughter found the shape of the Defender fascinating as it was not just smooth like an ordinary car. I said I did not mind at all and told his daughter to fire away. I remember looking at his wife wondering if I could chance my arm with a similar request....
Something similar also happened with a child who was sight impaired some years before that.

:Rolling:

I remember when we were kids we used to run our fingers along the side of the LR.
We sure got a blast when we did that, and a clip around the ear.

The aim was to not get caught doing it...[biggrin]

There was 4 of us kids,so when the old man asked who did this,it was always not me,it was him...[bighmmm][biggrin]

Oh,and there was that day someone put a handfull of Qld nuts down the exhaust,no wasnt me,dunno who it was, maybe it was him[biggrin]
