Hello so i am just about to remove the 3.0 litre engine from the discovery 4 i got, anyway because the engine was seized i was trying to figure out how i was going to get the converter bolts out. I thought i would try to turn the engine over a bit i had a large lever on the end of a breaker bar on the crankshaft pulley nut so i tried to turn it and it didn't turn at all but then when i put a lot more pressure on it the engine started turning over, although it is very tight to turn i now do not think it has a broken crank but i am a bit confused because of the amount of free play at the crank pulley , if anyone has any thoughts i would be very interested to hear them.
