I would like to personally thanks NavyDriver, James and John Tins for all there hard work to get Mario out on the water today. If I miss any one else I am sorry as I don't know everyone that was involved in this. To see Mario tying his rigs and getting his rods ready yesterday for this big day. Which I haven't seen in a few years. To see a smile on his face was priceless. You guys are just the best to take your time out to do this for him. You guys don't know what this has meant to us. This forum has the best people on it, you guys are always there to help anyone. All I can say is the BIGGEST THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Heather

Great job to all involved in doing this for Mario.

Happy Birthday Heather
Trust you had a great day off as well.
Now we know how to do it we will next time have the correct nav aids to ensure we get some fish. Don't tell Mario that his mentioning you do not like fish just might be the reason none came home with him for your birthday? Just kidding. Mario's secret gummy shark bait will need another test to ensure proof! Add he brings Cheezels and coffee so we know he is welcome in my boat [thumbsupbig]

Has to be said. A few of us tried to help out a mate. I think we did, as best we could. Mario and Heather have helped out quite a few on this forum, and their generosity is legendary. Good people try to give something back, which is what this, and any future event, is about. We're not done.
You know where I am, Heather, Mario. Anytime. Any reason.

Fish are just a bonus, ay! (Well, they are when I fish!) It's the 'Thrill of the Chase' that's important.
What a great day! :twobeers:

I showed a rather depressed broken gent in my wheel chair a pic of you getting into my boat today. He complimented your style Mario. I did mention all the ladies admiring the sling event you mentioned a few months ago. His wife was in stitches at my description of you and your admirers including the wonderful Heather.
They needed a chuckle. One back for you mate. Both of them had been to Donvale rehabilitation Hospital. The Cleopatra style platform to raise and lower my and other broken or modified bodies into the hydro pool was the favorite time for him and I. I told them I wanted a glass of champagne and a bunch of grapes while I was on it for a month + from the my wheel chair to the pool [biggrin]
While his wife hated it, we both agreed it was shangri-la to be able to move like we were not broken [thumbsupbig]
Going to Port Fairy this weekend. My Disco is still full from our event. Diving gear is coming - Prepare to Dive[thumbsupbig] A mermaid I am not[bigwhistle]Boat is staying home alas

but in that movie he's all alone in the ocean. Then in the dark of night he sets fire to his life raft and goes for broke, luckily Navy Diver sees the flames and heads towards him. As John starts sinking into the depths, luckily Navy Driver reaches with his outstretched arm grabs John's hand and plucks him from the black depths.

That is like most of my days.... Good movie though. Not sure Redforrd would enjoy the comparison.

Mr Redford is about twelve years older than me, and is about twelve years younger in fitness. That man has a portrait in an attic somewhere. I suppose I should be flattered....

The water looks so deep- we both know the truth. The Pre-dawn docking was the most changeling part of the day in that area[thumbsupbig]
