Hi guys,
I've been researching why the cruise control isn't working on my 1999 d2 td5 with the likely culprit being clutch switch related by my latest thinking. I see there are variations between the v8 and td5, with the v8 using a dedicated controller and vacuum operated throttle control whereas the td5 is controlled entirely by the standard ecu from my understanding. Is this correct?
Also, the engine starter will operate with the clutch engaged. Is this normal for this model?
Cheers!
