This is pretty old news Bob.
Haven't you seen the NYE celebrations I think in Shanghai where they used drone swarms instead of fireworks. Do you really think they have not thought of military applications.

The Chinese and USA are also very advanced in using swarms.

To tell the truth once I read this last week or so, I immediately thought it was the usual anti Israel propaganda.

You do realise that the Palestinians have also been using Iranian designed Drones against Israel I hope. It's only lack of the technology that stops them from using swarms.

Israel used a true drone swarm in combat over Gaza, a world first. It's a story on whether new international treaties are needed to govern and limit the use of drone swarms. The article acknowledges that the technology is here, and spreading fast. It is no longer science fiction, but science fact. And another problem to factor into defence white papers.
