My last - now obsolete - spectacles included an option of 'Blue- Blocking', supposedly cuts out a big chunk of UV AND the extreme 'blue' end of the spectrum. Easier on eyes, pineal gland, better sleep....reduces baldness. etc. Cost around $85 Extra. Can't say if they worked or not.

EvilBay came up with these, so for a few bucks I'm happy to do the experiment. What they DO is to filter out some UV- tested by a UC LED torch and the monitor screen is decidedly less blue and warmer. Downside is .... Wife gets terribly amused at the sight of a Pair of specs perched on the proboscis... sigh.....

Naturally (We need an 'icy' -looking font) I found these AFTER getting the above...

Hi,
My Galaxy Tab A has a warm tone setting in the screen controls, supposedly to give the same effect.
Cheers
