TD5 std block dimensions.

An engineering shop skimmed the top of my TD5 block and I want to check if the block can be reused without having to shave the pistons.

Where can I find the exact height of a std block so I can compare?

There is no standard height. Land rover measure piston protrusion and use different thickness head gaskets. You will need to fit a piston and measure the protrusion to determine if you can just use a thicker gasket or need to machine the pistons
