Paint fade.

Hi everyone, I have a bit of the dreaded paint fade appearing on my roof and the edge of my bonnet.
It's in good shape otherwise, so I'd like to rectify this before it gets any worse.
It seems to be clear coat breaking down in a few spots.
I've seen lots of you tube videos showing different ways to deal with it, so i'm wondering if any of you have attempted to fix paint fade and how did it go?
Also did it last or start to fade again over time.

The clear coat breaks down on just about every car that is not garaged. Usually at the 10 year mark. I've had to repaint the roof and bonnet of my D2, Freelander 2 and XJ8 Jag. Really the only way to fix it is to repaint the offending panels.

You could try a good aggressive buff and polish that might look ok for a while.
