Who in SEQ is up for it, if/when we ever get out of lockdown.
Open to venue suggestions. We try to make it central for the majority of the attendees.
Previous venues have ranged from the border to the Sunny Coast (for a very special couple) and west to Samford.
Register your interest and suggested venue.

Creek or showgrounds? I do realise that some folk on this forum are not as adventurous as others .

The creek is a short walk to the rubbity.

Depends how crowded, too. My informants are still reporting a gazzillion caravans ,en route to nowhere in particular, with decent camp spots, chockers. Includes out-of-the-way, free camps, too.

Good news and bad news.
Bad, the hotel accommodation is booked out. Good, we can have exclusive use of the dining room.
Camping at the back of the pub is on a first in, best dressed basis, for a five dollar donation to the Progress Association.
There is a sixtieth birthday party on the same night, so I suggest we arrive early to stake our spot and organise a gentle day trip to occupy part of the Saturday.
A barbecue dinner will be available on Saturday evening and a barbecue breakfast, for those interested, on the Sunday morning.

3: Where is the primary, official resistance of the Australian Prime Minister and what is its name?
4: The 1968 Olympics were held where?
5: Considering Australia a continent, which is the second largest island in the world?

1) Will all attending vehicles, wishing for a day's outing, be able to ascend the Bunya Mtn's road?....and have the anchors to get down again?[wink11]

2) Is 90-100 km too long a day? Will roughly be Maidenwell to Bunya Mtn's Dandabah picnic area (30km), Dandabah to Kumbia pub, for a palate cleansing ale or whatever (30km) and then Kumbia to Maidenwell via the Glencliffe, Glencliffe/Wengenville, Glencliffe/Maidenwell roads .
