Seems the centre of the oval badge on the lower left side of tailgate of my L322 has lost dropped out.
I think they might drop out when it gets below zero (like the centre badges in D2 wheels drop out when they get very cold).
Can anybody tell me what colour they are normally ?
I was thinking Green/gold, but all I see available are Black and Silver, which mine may have been but not sure.

I was expecting it to be green/gold (but front grille badge is black/ silver), and have managed to locate green/gold badge, so that will have to do.

mine has black and silver fitted by the previous owner but they didn't change the wheel centre caps they are still green and gold. People change things for bling . see specs pics. I personally like the Black/silver ones

Green and Gold on the 2008 luxury tdv8. Haven't lost this badge though it regularly gets down to minus 4.

The car has seen 46 degrees too!

Have found it a bit worrying at times, driving along in remote region early AM and get the dreaded "chimes" with dash message.....telling me that outside is -5, 6,7, or whatever degrees.
I know it is cold outside, not sure why I have to be warned.
Maybe in some countries it is so cold they reckon it is safer to stay in your car and have to warn drivers.
Got green and gold badge, SWMBO is happy and I can go back to my D2, which asks for little, gives everything and doesn't frighten me with messages about how cold it is outside.
