For years I've sported a beard and moustache.
Recently I removed the beard, since then I get people commenting "oh, you got a moustache"
Another time I shaved it all off and no one own including wife noticed it immediately. They might have thought something was different but couldn't put their finger on it .

My kids and their kids wouldn't recognise me without a full beard, it predates my Land Rover ownership.

Dog wouldn't let SWMBO out of the bathroom, why?
She had a towel wrapped around her head.
Once she took the the towel off the towel off the dog was was fine.
How's the dog treating you?

My brother in law had a beard when wife's sister met & married him ( booth 2nd marriages) a couple of years after they married he shaved his beard off to reveal he had no chin , she didn't talk to him for a couple of weeks.

I have had a beard since I was 22 , when our daughter was about 3 I shaved it off & our daughter screamed & would not come near me so have had one ever since. often think abought shaving it off but wife told me I can't because I would look younger than her.[bighmmm]

Occasionally ever since this pandemic thing started us looking at masks, I have wondered what a long beard would need to look like, clean shaved enough only just to accommodate a mask.

Always come back to a disheveled looking wolverine wannabe type vision and put the clippers down... one day it might be needed but till then...

i only removed my beard as I use a CPAP face mask. People with beards have sealing issued, which I have lived withuntil now.
But it had to go [bigsad]as I drool excessively now and I was getting burn sores on my chin The beard was holding it.[bigsad]
