Nope... I think you'll find it's still original. :D Douglas Adams always had plans to turn it into a film, he just never had a chance to see it through before he died.

BTW - The commonly accepted abreviation is H2G2. :cool:

douglas adams worked on the movie for nearly 20yrs before he died.
in the last scene of the movie when the heart of gold dematerialises and flashes thru a few different forms, the last one is of dougie's face.
