Apart from the obvious answers.....:tease:

My brother who currently lives in Perth and has travelled many parts of WA in a Suzuki Jimny is applying to move to Hobart.

He is considering buying a Citroen (C4)...now I like the French style apart from their losing.

My advice was (of course) was that at least he should have a 4wd and preferably a LR...maybe a D90:) ...

He says that there is no point because there is no where to drive it as it should be driven..are the nether regions of Tassie really locked off?

Sorry but having lived there for 17 years up until 2 years ago that is a load of s*** Tassie is one of the best states to 4wd in with alot of the state still accesable. Tell your brother that he obviosly hasn't looked around much at all contact his local 4x4 club and they can fill him in on just how good it really is

Cheers matt

That is reassuring.

He is not a stranger to Tassie having worked at a fish farm at Strahan, walked the south west track solo and spent many days in a tent weathered in the Arthurs...He bought his Ducati there ...maybe he is getting soft in his old age.

I reckon a LR is his best option;)

We do suffer the same as the mainland with some tracks being closed off, but there are still more than enough tracks to keep anybody happy down here still ;)
