I don't care where they end up as long as the new onwers have a plan, matching budget and skills to either restore or keep them serviced 'as'.....Way too many classic LR's got devalued over the last few years with so called 'restos' IMO. So hopefully they all end up at a good home. m

Yes he is selling some stuff on as he has realised “quantity doesn’t equal quality”

He recently rescued the “last ever Series I built”.

Yes - some atuff is going back to the UK.

I know him, he’s not a mate - just a LR fanatic with coin in his pocket.

He regularly has Land Rovers for sale at high prices (but maybe I'm getting out of touch !). Two Series II's listed in Markets.
Wanted adverts from an address local to me and also in NSW.
Offers 'the highest prices for old Land Rovers'.

I'll check where my young bloke took the pictures, could point to whether they were being delivered to him or moved on.

Certainly an entrepreneur but in the process driving up prices for old Land Rovers. Good if you are selling, not so good if you're buying.

It's not a new thing- find something that exists in limited quantities, buy every one of them that becomes available, then market them at whatever price you want. Years ago around Vic there was a bloke doing this with, of all things, fence post rammers. It was impossible to buy a used rammer except from this bloke and he wanted a fortune for them. The person monopolising the Series LR market appears to have some absolute crap on the market for ridiculous prices- but if you're after one to restore, watcha gonna do?
