I hope all the fathers out there had a good day and enjoyed your self has much as they can. Mario has spent his in hospital today, he was taken in on Sat. I hope that he might come home sometime next week. I don't think this is a good day for him as no one can go in to the hospitals for a while. Totally enjoy your family. Heather

Thanks Heather. I was sad to hear Mario was in hospital today. That's terrible he can't have visitors.
I had a good day (apart from finding another few oil leaks on the disco) chasing the kids around. The kids wanted to have dinner in the backyard around the fire drum which was a nice end to the day.
There are some benefits to lockdown. The fire drum sure has had a workout and the dog is happy we're all home.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210905/e66830ed729df7c385b3a1deeacf000b.jpg

Concur fully Heather. Happy Fathers day to all dad and carers. Had a few events a long way from family. Still celebrate and do it all over again when with the ones you love was the way I did it. Some dads are not as lucky to have the kids with them today.
Your still the Dads so cheer plus
I got a 20km very circular bike ride all inside 5km from home and four games of chess with two out of my three at home happily for me.
Hope Mario is home soon. Wish him well from us

Had phone calls today from both sons - one had forgotten it was fathers day and phoned to seek help with some damage from the rain. The other one rang because it was fathers day.
I don't expect to see anyone until I go to a doctor's appointment on Saturday, but I do have a planned class reunion tomorrow - high school "class of '58" ; via Zoom. It was planned in person, but of course, that went out the window!

Well hope to have Mario back home tomorrow of Friday. Talking to the doctor there said that it is getting harder for him to get around and that they need 2 people. She said what about respite/rehab, or have I thought about a nursing home. What are they trying to do he goes to hospital for an infection and pain and now they say a nursing home. I have a ceiling hoist in the bedroom/bathroom done, doors widen and a the outside lift for his wheel chair coming very soon with in weeks. He has NDIS there is money for people to come in and help me when I need it. He is staying home if I have anything to do about, and he has Kitty that is missing him at the moment.

Good on you Heather, I can't see Mario liking a nursing home.
