You go to the bother of arranging your Land Rover filters, fluids, spares etc and then the Mrs goes and does this...

I built my wife a She Shed for her to do & store her Quilting, the storage in photo is half of what I built her (photo taken with phone so rolled on side )173435
And this is the overflow, some where under this is my 1950 wooden box trailer I use to take a water pump & safety fencing to car shows running the pump off the PTO on my 1950 LR , I have not seen the trailer for at least 3 years.173436 And 90% 0f stuff stored on these two mezzanine floors awe more of her overflow. 173437173438 I am thinking about extending the mezzanine floors by the same amount . When I complain about having to walk side wards to get to the tools in the shelving she tells me I have too much LR stuff.

At least you know you won’t have evil spirits infiltrating your filters[emoji12]

SWMBO is a teacher and I'm seriously considering buying her a container to put all the "resources" in that fill every empty space in our house. "Do you really need those cut outs you made 10 years ago when you were teaching year 2" "Of course, I might teach that year again and they might be useful"
mutter mutter........

Hi,
Teaching is the only profession known to steal stuff from home and take it to work!

My wife just keeps her Firearms in my shed [biggrin][thumbsupbig]
She then has her own structure in which she has set up a full gymnasium.

My wife is the same with her Quilting materials , she has fabric she bought 20+ years ago & I keep saying you have not used it in the last 20+ years you are not likely to use it now & she says , but I like it! Grrrrrrrrrr can't win.

When I say to SWMBO,
"That stuff is ancient & you might as well get rid of it."
She just sort of looks at me & raises her eyebrows?
Don't know why.

A good mate of mine has a wife that has got seriously into scrapbooking. More and more of their very large house is being over-run with her craft supplies. I laugh everytime I go there and see another room being swallowed up!

Well guys , I have to admit to having a good laugh at your situations.
I have allowed swmbo, to have the the 3 bedrooms that our children used to habitate to become her storage facilities. I have what was the toyroom or tv room to myself. She still has her sewing room/home office where she works from home. I also have the study/original computer room as my home base.
We still have a spare double bedroom for guests whom I never encourage and a gym.
Happy wife , happy life.
ps , I cook and wash up , she earns the money.
she is allowed to , and encouraged to , use health and beauty products , I get accused of punching above my weight.

It seems that it is the same story at all our places
The wife’s collection seems to grow and grow, I worry about my own collection not hers, but she seems to have a say in everything I bring home
12 months ago she came across a horse float, good condition, previous owner had just spent $1800 getting the brakes tyres and a couple of other things tidied up
I had my ear chewed off telling me how much the thing was worth and the previous owner just wanted it gone (no more horses)
Wife could have it for what she had just spent on it
I told her to go get it
I just found a mini excavator, under half price to what there worth (same story, previous owner wasn’t using it and just wanted it gone)
Geez, did I get an earful just mentioning it.
When I brought it home, the neighbors would have thought “what the ****, who’s brought a banshee into the neighbourhood”
Two words came out of my mouth to tame the for said
“Horse float”
Now I just hear about how it destroys the garden every where I drive it[emoji12]

when we purchased our current place 5 years ago it came with a shed about the size of an oversize single care gararge.
SWMBO commandeered this shed as it was far to small for me.
I had a 12m x 20m built for me.
Keeps us both happy.
