Had a good chuckle at my son's mistake today.

He was practicing some TIG welding on a piece of 1.5mm mild steel which he laid a nice bead onto. He went to pick the piece up and Yup it was welded to the welding table top. Only way to get it off was with the grinder. Was a shame because it was a nice looking weld/bead.

That was the first thing he did. Sent the photo to his mate that is an apprentice welder!
