There were pics of spiderwebs woven by their creators in the Whole Earth Catalogue (or Epilogue) in the 1970's under the influence of various drugs.

Done to death 50 years ago.

I sometimes come across the results of recent 'new' lobster research which was originally done 20 years ago at the behest of several committees I was on and reviewed by same.

Guess what...................... The results are exactly the same.

But if you do not repeat the same test over a longer period of time you cannot show the results were not a fluke
