View Full Version : Dash centre console for Tdi Defender - templates?

Well I screwed up when trying to set up my mud console (holes I cut in the plastic console etc) and I have decided that I want to make a metal console instead.

To avoid reinventing the wheel I wonder if there are any templates doing the rounds I could use (or adapt) ?

I need to fit a deep UHF (icom), a shallow stereo (no CD) and a pile of carling switches.

I had a mate make up one for my 2003 TD5 out of steel. Same pattern as the original but with the radio mounted lower. I can take some photos but i dont know if that would be any help. Let me know.
