Had my brake fluid changed last Monday and they mentioned that the front pads were almost gone.
So I booked it in for today and the pads still hadnt turned up.
They eventually found a set and went and got them and fitted them.
After I paid for I asked what brand of pads did they get,but they didnt know cause all they got were the
number of the pads. DB2054.
Seems they are Bendix heavy duty.
Has anyone used these before and are they any good.
TIA

Ive used bendix before, ive actually spoken to one of their lead techs before too and I would have no issue fitting them to my car again.

The tech really loved brakes haha

I've used them as well, on my car now! I've got them paired with am upgraded rotor but they are really good. Mine wear well too and I was always braking harder than average as my driving style is a bit aggressive :)
They don't even squeak or cover the wheel in brake dust!

Well I was going to go for a drive to launceston today but after roughly 28k,s at 110 kph,
the thumping got really bad.Had already checked that I didnt have a flat when it first started but it got progressively
worse.
Turned around and took it easy going back.
Got home and jacked up the rear to see if there were any bulges in the tyres, none.
Did the same for the front, none.
Checking the front pads, the clip that holds the pads in place is extended on either side of the pads.
Could this be the cause of the horrible thumping noise as the noise wasnt there before they changed the pads.
Do I need to change the calipers so that I can fit the slightly longer pads in there so I dont get the thumping?
Any other ideas welcome.
TIA
