Wasn’t happy with what in installed a few years ago….into my 110HT

Removed today
130 front springs (225 lbs ?? Free length)
Superior remote res shocks
90mm bump-stop
270mm spring perch to perch

Installed today
LRA Purple/Yellow 235 lbs / 390 free length
Bilstein Shocks B46-0243
100mm bump-stop
280mm perch to perch.

ride has improve significantly……my guess is the shocks were the main contributor.

I noticed the Billies were a little shorter one end than the superior l, have lost a little bit of droop as I needed to Jack the diff up a bit to get the shocks on.

Having relocated shock mounts made the job a breeze

Were the superiors valved to suit a landrover?

Do yourself a favour and buy some axle stands before the car falls on you. Two jacks is not super safe. Especially when one of them is a widowmaker. [emoji12]

Just out of curiosity, why not get the superiors re valved? They are probably the better shock if they are set up correctly.
