I been thinking for a while now to install these. Has anyone found a suitable location for these in a seven seater? Ideally I would like to mount the subwoofer into the tail door, but I’m not sure this is possible with standard trim. Any ideas?

The high spec D2s had a sub woofer in a box mounted on the rear door trim. It was next to the pocket that held the tool kit and had the same dimensions. So definitely doable.

Get an HSE tailgate door trim.

The rear pod in the Hi-line system is basically 2 * 6-6.5' speakers and aint much space to go larger, could do an oval one in the space with a bit of cutting but doubt you will get a thumping window shaking doof doof with it if that is what you are after.

Note on the highline, they have a crossover in the amp so it is only the bass in the boot so to speak, the ones above have the secondary speaker but do not sound due to the crossover. The original ones had an extremely heavy magnet and were a dedicated bass speaker, on most of these the original cones have probably separated well and truly by now.
But then again, you could go the underseat option and put that in the space on the rear door, would suggest the rear cavity would give it all a boost.
