Simmering at 200w
Had to remove lid as it was boiling way too much when the induction cooktop cycled on.
It’s also quite windy today…..this would have been testing with a gas cooker on summer, I’d suspect the flame would blow out multiple time

Thank you. Hope it tasted as good as it looks.
I did not want wood or gas BBQ for my new back yard. Your post had me looking and OMG I owe you mate
This one seem 240volt but may be suitable for my camper which needs a kitchen rebuild as well[biggrin]

It always tastes pretty good….although the chilli I selected alphas spiced it up a bit.
Pretty sure all induction cooktop are 240v…..

Sun has poked it head out….
Not bad for 240w of semi flex solar panels sitting above a black roof…..

Well, done and dusted…….

Battery capacity 85% down to 54% = 62ah……this would have smoked my previous battery setup, don’t forget I had solar going in as well.

The wind picked up even more during the cook, this would have been a nightmare with gas…anybody in brisbane today will know how windy it is
Solar harvest, condition were not idea, below include solar harvest prior to starting the cook, 340Wh = 28ah….

Induction cooktop set @ 200w I’d say it was just above a simmer…..I have video but cannot upload here.
Anyways, em happy with the outcome, we’d get at least three meal out of the cook up.
Our plan would be cool this on a morning that we have a 2-3 hour drive..that way we’d be back to 100%
Will give a chicken curry ago next time…..
Sure at home we’d let our curries simmer for many hours…..life on the road means shorter cooking times although I am thinking maybe popping the curry into the travel buddy oven for the 3 hr drive after the initial cook on the induction.
Still happy with ditching gas, that the expense, weight saving, recharge time has been worth it.
