Sort of funny, maybe not here?
I am currently looking for a couple from outside of Doomadgee to employ at the Roadhouse.
Got an application so I phoned up the couple & ended up talking to the female of the couple. Gave her a rundown of the positions & she said sounded good but that her husband was out at the moment & they would call me back later in the day.
No phone call was forthcoming so I phoned back the next day, lady said the car had broken down & I would get a call as soon as things got sorted.
Yesterday the bloke phones me. "Bugger me!" he says, "I think I put unleaded in my diesel & blew the motor up."
"What do you drive?" I ask.
"A Land Rover." he says
I chuckle "They will give you agro one way or another".
Anyway he is phoning back tomorrow once he get a proper diagnosis but other than the Land Rover issue I will hire them.
Maybe not funny but I found it so.
