Reminds me a bit of my time flying in PNG - not as developed as that though, and some of the strips steeper and shorter. (I had my Cessna 180 there)

That might be a challenging paved strip but mountain, unpaved, angled strips are another thing.

Yes, I watched some of them. Thing that struck me was how high tech flying in PNG seems to have become since I was there fifty years ago!
