After ordering this back in March and waiting 6 months for it to come via Johannesburg, I now have a watertight and lockable canopy on my 130.
This thing fits like a glove and the workmanship is just spot on. It is all aluminium construction and came with insulation, front/back windows, led lights, plus roof rails. Only fault is that the led lights are only 250mm long so I will upgrade these to bigger ones.
No more leaky canvas. Still have to refit all the gear in the tub (fridge, sort out electrics etc) plus refit my big awning
happy days!

Was it worth it considering there are lots of locally made canopies ?

Very Cool looking Canopy... What have u done to seal up the rear Tailgate from Dust/Water ingress?

It was $6.5k delivered to my door in suburban Brisbane. There is a Bushtech dealer in WA called Quickpitch who arranged it for me. Took six months to deliver as there was civil unrest in Durban and the canopy sat there for three months waiting for a shipping container.
It was very well packed - standing up on a timber pallet and wrapped in 75mm polystyrene and then plastic. There was no signs of any damage.
The canopy is a work of art. I went to several manufacturers here in Brisbane and no one could match this style for the price. It's all aluminium and has some serious rubber seals around the base and around the tail gate.

I gather there is only one height available or can u request a taller canopy?

robmacca a taller canopy seems like a bad idea - front of car fits under obstacle, so as driver you subconsciously think "all good" then canopy doesn't fit under = pain in the wallet.

Not if u are running a roofrack too on your roof... I'm sure most people would be aware of their roof heights...
Having the ability have a higher canopy can be beneficial when touring in our u set it up the rear cargo area
