Most seem to be in the $1600 - 2k region for both belts, not a hard job to diy.

Unless TDV6 3.0L and then it’s a lot harder to DIY as firewall space is tighter and the belt has to be timed.

I think I paid $2200 in Tamworth NSW

Up to $2k
Include oil pump replacement if it's not the latest pump.
On a 3.0 the rear belt is not nice to do; suggest you get an LR Indie who is familiar, to do.
I'm told it is more difficult than a 2.7; less room and the pump has to be timed, unlike the 2.7
.... and while you're in there replace the water manifold at front of centre V if not already done, much cheaper to do it at same time rather than stand alone job later.

Once upon a time I paid 1800 bucks to have all belts changed, I.e. hpfp timed belt at the rear, the valve train timing belt at the front and the accessory belt. Knowing what a pita that job is, I was happy to hand over the cash

And Eric finds out the rest belt wasn’t changed [emoji1787]
How would you know …. (There a TikTok audio of that) “how would they know… oh they’ll know….”

I hate trusting work to other people. Provide me the old belt as assurance (and then they pull one out of the bin).
But screw doing that job on my 3L. Thankfully my engine will die before it’s next due so that’s not something on my radar

My next DIY job. I was going to only pen mark the crank position after pinning the cams in place then replace belt and tensioners.
I’m 50.50 on replacing oil pump as it was changed last time in 2014 to upgraded part. Unless there’s a leak at the seal.
Will definitely do water pump.

Pins can be anything 5.5mm like drill bit, Alan keys or torx keys I have.
Crank pin you need to remove the starter and if you don’t change the oil pump you don’t need to remove crank bolt.

I had a Sydney indie replace the timing belt, water pump and fuel pump belt for $2.6k. Apparently he had to lift the body off the chassis to get to the fuel pump.
